This policy explains what information Teckfinity collects when you visit teckfinity.com, contact us, apply for a role, or chat with our assistant, and how that information is used.
1. Who we are
Teckfinity is an independent technology studio building and shipping software, AI agents, and data systems for founders and growing teams. The data controller for this site is Teckfinity, reachable at info@teckfinity.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly.
Name, email, company, message text when you submit the contact form.
Name, email, role applied for, cover letter, links, and an optional resume file when you apply through the careers form.
The contents of any message you send to the chat assistant. Conversations may include any details you choose to share.
Information collected automatically when you browse.
IP address (used for rough geolocation and ASN lookup, not stored for ad targeting).
Approximate location (country, region, city) derived from IP.
Browser user-agent, device class, operating system, and the page you arrived from.
Pages viewed on this site and the time spent on each page.
For visitors whose IP belongs to a corporate network, the organization name and domain returned by our ASN lookup. Traffic from consumer
ISPs and mobile carriers is not associated with a company.
Information we do not collect.
We do not place advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We do not buy or enrich personal contact information from third-party data brokers.
We do not attempt to identify individual visitors by name, email, or phone unless they give us that information voluntarily.
3. Why we use it
To respond to your inquiry, application, or chat message.
To improve site content, navigation, and the chat assistant by understanding which pages are read and which questions are common.
To detect and reject scrapers, scanners, and abusive traffic.
To keep records of business engagements once a contract is in place.
4. Legal basis (for visitors in the EEA, UK, and similar regimes)
Consent for any optional information you provide.
Legitimate interest in operating the site, replying to inquiries, and protecting against abuse.
Contract when we process information needed to fulfill an engagement.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of first-party items:
- A randomly generated visitor identifier stored in your browser's local storage. It is used to stitch together your page views during a session. It contains no personal information.
- A session cookie if you sign into the admin area. Visitors who sign in are excluded from analytics.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
6. How long we keep it

7. Processors we share data with
We use a small number of trusted vendors to operate the site. Each processes only what is necessary.

We do not sell personal information to anyone.
8. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to: - See what information we hold about you. - Correct anything that is wrong. - Delete your data, including chat conversations, contact submissions, or career applications. - Receive a copy of the information you have given us in a portable format. - Withdraw consent for optional processing.
Send any request to info@aidataguys.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We respond within 30 days.
9. Children
This site is intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
The processors listed above operate servers in the United States and Europe. Where personal data is transferred outside your country, we rely on the processor's standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.
11. Security
We use authenticated, encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on the database, and least-privilege access keys. No system is perfectly secure, so if you suspect an issue, please write to info@teckfinity.com.
12. Changes
If we change this policy, the date at the top of the page is updated. Material changes are summarized at the top of the next email we send to active clients.
